I can't believe I have a 2nd grader and a 3rd grader! Books are starting to be a little different in our house as I have less and less reason to buy picture books. It's definitely sad for me. I love good picture books. And my kids are reading more chapter books (many of which they only read once) so I tend to look for them at the library before buying new.
But I still give in. Especially if I think both kids will read or if I think I'll want to read. Or if the hold list at the library is FOREVER long. (Looking at you Puppy Place books!)
