Around Town: Week of November 24

Its almost Thanksgiving! And my baby girl is 7 months old tomorrow. Oh my goodness, how time flies. We went to Ancil Hoffman Park on Friday and had a great little walk. That's what the picture to the right is from. Another item off the Fall Bucket List! Ancil Hoffman Park is always a great place to go to if the weather cooperates.

If you are lucky enough to have the day after Thanksgiving off - take a canned food item over to Fairytale Town to donate and get in for free. Easy way to entertain the kids as long as the weather is ok.

If you want to celebrate with some bubbly, head over to Renwood Winery on Nov. 30 for their sparkling release party. Tickets are $10 which includes the sparkling samples, food pairings and a zen sample. Still cheaper than Napa and just as good!

Beauty and the Beast is a favorite of mine. If you have kids 5+ - you might want to look into taking them to see the B Street Theatre production. I can't wait until Lucy is old enough to take to  things like this. The show runs through Dec. 29 so you have some time to check it out.
