Around Town: July 8

I cannot believe that its mid-July. This year has just flown by. Anyone else notice that? Ok. Anyways - things to do this week. Looking for a 5K to participate in? The Fab 40s 5k is Saturday, July 14 and the proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association. Get some exercise, see some BEAUTIFUL houses and support a good cause. Sounds like an easy enough thing to me.

July 10 is the start of The Little Mermaid at the Music Circus. If you have kids (over 4) this would be an awesome show to take them to. My friend and I are taking her daughter and I can't wait.

The Art Mix at the Crocker this week is the Red Hot & Bohemian Mix and sounds like it could be a fun time. Glass-inspired art making and live music plus a movie... a lot going on! Free with museum admission - so free to members!

If you're in Davis (or feel like heading there this week) at the John Natsoulas Gallery they'll be featuring a Wine, Art and Jazz night on Thursday, July 12. Sounds like fun!
