Friday Favorites: Poems, Not Yelling, and More! 1/22

Well, how are we all feeling? I'm feeling hopeful and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. But the work isn't done. There are still so many people who believe that this election was stolen from Trump. There is a lot of cult like deprograming that is going to have to happen.

BUT we should take a moment to acknowledge the good right? I've got some things I've found around the web this week to share with you. Enjoy!

First, the poem from Amanda Gorman at the inauguration. WOW.

Advice from Inuit parents. If you've struggled in the past few weeks with parenting (like I have) take the 10 minutes to really read this. It's worth it.

I'm loving Eat My Books as a way to find out what recipes I have that contain ingredients I have on hand. I just loaded up what cookbooks I own and it indexes the recipes.

And also these Brown Sugar Cookies are AMAZING.

I really enjoyed Bridgerton - but I'm not planning on buying a corset anytime soon.

What have you been enjoying this week?
