For 2022. Focus on More and Less.

People have some very strong opinions about New Year's Resolutions. Maybe even more so because of all that has been 2020 and 2021. But I'm a list person, so resolutions are helpful for me. I also like the idea of picking a word for the year. And after a lot of thought - I decided to go with "Focus". 2021 was filled with some good moments -- and I hope to make more of those in 2022.

This year I've made a list of what I want to focus on in the categories of "More of..." and "Less of..." listed below.

More of...

Family reading time
Drinking water
Getting exercise
Investing in stocks
Investing in Crypto Currency
Writing for fun/personal
Giving back (time and money)
Dentist visits
Car sing-a-longs
Family dance parties
Healthy cooking
Stand up paddle board time
Travel
Looking for small ways to make people smile
Color
Investing in my community
Plants
Pictures with my real cameras

Less of...

Amazon
Spending money on things that aren't good for me, my family and the environment
Burnout
Being to tired to take care of myself
Take out food
Yelling at the kids
Mindless scrolling
Feeling responsible for other people's happiness
Black, gray and navy
Making excuses
Putting effort into relationships that don't serve me
Debt
Complaining
Negative self-talk

What do you want to do more of or less of this year? Give me suggestions ... I'm sure I'll be adding to this list.

  2. I used to do resolutions and did a special word for the year a couple times but now I don't do either. From your more of list, I like: drinking water, exercise, writing, healthy cooking, and plants. From your less of list, I like: Amazon (an addiction we all need to break), take out food, mindless scrolling, and putting effort into relationships that don't serve me.

Crypto currency interests me but I know nothing about it, don't even know where to start, do you?

As for your writing, that reminds me that I used to do a short story link party but could never get very many people interested in doing it along with me. I'd love to do it again. I still have those stories on my blog.

Anyway, thanks so much for linking up at the Unlimited Link Party 65. Pinned!
