My Summer Reading List: 2019

My reading life has gone through many stages. I've been working hard over the past few years to make the time to read -- but it still isn't as much as it was before kids and before I was self-employed. Which is ok. I've learned to not get stuck trying to finish a book I don't like. I've learned to have a few different books going at once. I've learned to read new releases even when my TBR stack is a mile high.

I've also learned to make lists of books I'd like to read over the summer. This is my list for 2019. I obviously will not be reading all of these books -- but it gives me a place to start when I am thinking about what to read next. Some are new and some are older... like The Sun is Also A Star which I put on here because I'd like to read it before I see the movie.

So here it is  -- just in time if you need some suggestions of your own.

Miracle Creek | The Last Book Party | Normal People | Clover Blue | Daisy Jones & The Six | The Sun is Also A Star | Pink Elephant | Calling Me Home | Finding Dorothy

What are you reading this summer? Let me know in the comments!

Also if you're interested in my kids summer reading list - I shared that earlier.

  1. I'm excited about leading a book club this summer based on Sensible Shoes, a book by Sharon Garlough Brown.
I've never done an in person book club before, so this will be new and fun!
