Have a blissful weekend. Friday 9/28

OMG. This week has been crazy town. My parents are gone which means I had to block off time to make sure I was available to pick up Lucille from Kinder. Which was great because I really got to spend a little more time with her. Which is what I wanted from the beginning (read my post from earlier this week if you want to know more about that...)

But then she ended up getting sick, missing school today - which was the day she was going to buy her wishlist items from the book fair AND it was the Grandparent Lunch. So she is feeling a little bummed, to say the least. And despite my best efforts to concentrate on the kiddos this week - I'm feeling behind in work, life and of course this blog.

So I am hoping for a BLISSFUL weekend. And a not sick kiddo. I wish the same for all of you. Here are some of my favorite things from this week:

13 lessons to make you really, truly, happy. Maybe.

Hens are just like the rest of us moms. And here is proof.

Who hasn't seen a bird fly into a window? This is an interesting piece about patterns in glass as deterrents.

For scrabble lovers, ok?

A new step in self-care? Instapurging.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I should be back with a menu plan on Monday!
