Menu Plan Monday: Too hot to cook. 6/19

It is too dang hot. Today got to be about 106 degrees. Tomorrow, the same. Wednesday maybe up to 108. Thursday? 109. Friday, we might get to dip down to 104...

Anyways, you get the point. It's the first real heat wave of the summer and the LAST thing I want to do is to cook. So This week's meal plan is all about NOT COOKING. Here it is:


Monday: Rotisserie chicken and salad
Tuesday: Green chili turkey tacos
Wednesday: Strawberry Balsamic Pasta Salad
Thursday: Two Pea Pesto Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Friday: Event at Church
Saturday: Greek Lemon Chicken Skewers with Spanakopita (already made just warm up from frozen.)
Sunday: BBQ (it's finally supposed to be under 100 degrees by Sunday!)

If you're in this heat wave too - stay cool. We even had to cancel Lucille's second week of Lacrosse. Because it's just too dang hot.
