June 3 - Inside Out movie night at Arden Park. This is the park I grew up going to and still where my parents live so we like to check out things to do here. It's also my kids favorite park to play at so there is that.
June 4 - National Trails Day - Hike it Baby event at one of our favorite places - Effie Yeaw Nature Center
June 4 - Pops in the Park @ East Portal Park - Grab a picnic, head to a park and enjoy some music. What's not to like? Pops in the Park also happens on June 11, June 18 and June 25.
June 4 - Kids in the Kitchen @ Pizza Rock - For budding chefs ages 5-12 Pizza Rock offers a kids in the kitchen experience the first Saturday of every month. $10 for your kid to go.
June 5 - Promenade of Mermaids - If you've got little mermaids, mermen or pirates at home - this could be a fun event. Costume awards... and a promenade. Plus lots of people dressed like mermaids.
June 9 - Gather @ Oak Park - The 2nd Thursday every month from May to October you can enjoy family fun, food, drinks and music at Broadway and 3rd in Oak Park. As long as it isn't too hot - this is the place to be!
June 9-12 - Gypsy Vintage Show - In Lincoln an amazing collection of vintage, rustic, home decor, shabby chic... anything you want. Leave the kids at home and get some mommy time in on this one.
June 11 - Cupcake Ball - This is a special one for dads and daughters. A Cupcake Ball "father / daughter dance" for the littlest princesses at the Sacramento Children's Museum. A great pre-father's day experience.
June 11 - THIS Midtown - And then there is THIS. another great block party in Sacramento. Last year between Gather and THIS - our kids got lots of good music and food. And we felt like adults. Totally a win-win.
June 12 - Off the Grid: River Walk in West Sacramento - Another great evening neighborhood party with food, drinks, kids activities and music. I'm really looking forward to checking this one out! Sound like a great time near the river.
June 16 - Twilight Thursdays @ the Zoo - We LOVE Zoo Twilight Thursdays. We had a zoo membership before we had kids - just for this event. Music, late nights at the zoo, beer and food. Every Thursday June 16 - July 28. See you there.
June 17 - Hotel Transylvania 2 in the park at Fair Oaks Village. Movies in the park are a great way to enjoy the outdoors with the family.
June 18 - Music in the Park (Brad Wilson) @ Arden Park. Another Arden park event - Brad Wilson is a rock / blue guitar guy that probably the whole family could enjoy. Music goes from 7 pm - 10 pm.
