MPM: Week of January 19

Menu planning has been going good so far in 2015. Blog posting hasn't been going as well. But I'm working on it. From last week's menu - the lasagna soup and the parmesan crusted pork chops were both amazing. We'll be out a bit this week - so not as much to plan. Here is what the ideas are:

Monday: cornmeal-crusted trout with bourbon-pecan butter sauce
Tuesday: with family
Wednesday: with family
Thursday: Pizza
Friday: saucy hungarian red potato goulash
Saturday: sweet potato, kale and sausage in a white cheese sauce
Sunday: buffalo chicken salad

Raley's has a good deal on steelhead this week (plus I have an extra $2 off per pound on my something extra card) so that's why we are going with the trout recipe tonight. And bourbon-pecan butter?!? Can't say no to that.

I got some red potatoes at the farmers market on Saturday and remembered the goulash recipe above (and how amazing it was.) So I'm really looking forward to that too.

Happy Monday - more menu plans at org junkie, as usual.
