Friday Fixation: Happy Links

TGIF! Hope everyone had a good Halloween. We enjoyed celebrating with our little munchkin. We passed out candy so we knocked another item off the Fall Bucket list. We didn't watch "Its the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" but maybe we'll do that tonight.

I love this new calendar app I downloaded for my iPhone. The design of your calendar is beautiful, it works seamlessly with your iPhone calendar and Facebook and whatever else you want to connect it to. Pulls notes from Evernote. And did I mention the design?

Pretty, vintage letterpress goodies

If you haven't seen this emotional baby video yet, you must. What a cutie.

I love a good sale. Apartment Therapy has a list of some sales this weekend.

Have a great weekend!

P.S. I am doing the NaBloPoMo for the month of November - and today's prompt was interesting. If you found a million dollars in the morning and had to spend it by night fall, what would you spend it on?

Here is my ideas - first, I'd pay off the house and car and any credit card debit. Then, I think I'd buy another car, so that we'd have two cars that I can drive and that the car seat could go in (I can't drive the hubby's truck - its stick and I just can't.) Then I'd try and get all my Christmas shopping done. I'd make some hefty donations to local charities and non-profits - WEAVE, Effie Yeaw Nature Center, The Sacramento Zoo, Crocker Art Museum.... etc. Help my friends and family with any debt they want to get rid of.  And anything left at that point, I'd send to the husband. He's in Vegas right now, and I am SURE he could spend the rest of it ASAP.

What would you do with a million dollars you had to spend in one day?
