Around Town: Oct 21

Well - as Halloween approaches I'm sure most of you have plans this coming weekend. But in case you don't I have to start this weeks Around Town post talking about The Hangtown Halloween Ball. If you can make it out to Placerville - there is a good reason to go... Blind Pilot is playing. If you haven't heard of them watch the video of them at Lollapalooza this year. I'm a big fan.

Something I wish I'd remember further in advance (because they are already sold out) is the Lantern Tours at the Old Cemetery. These always sound like just the type of spooky Halloween fun I like. Has anyone ever gone on one?

Sutter's Fort turns haunted for Halloween on Oct. 26 - so if you have kids that might enjoy that be sure to check it out!

Hope that helps with some Halloween plans! Any other local suggestions?

    Oh my gosh, Matt would be SO into the lantern tour. Let's remember to do that next year!

    All of these fun events are killing me. So sad I'm going to be moving. :(

    Yes! I'm going to Calendar a reminder for next year - because I swear this happened to me last year too. I'll put a note to let you know too and we can plan it! :)
