Amazon is an amazing thing. I have found some great deals lately - which is what is leading to this post. Today I decided to check prices on Elizabeth Bishop's Poetry -- and found the
Poems / Prose [Boxed Set]
for $2.64. This is a $75 boxed set normally. I was floored. I purchased. Love my Amazon Prime membership too because it means I get 2 day free shipping at any price.

Anyways it pushed me to do something I don't normally do - post 2 times in one day. Want some other great book deals on Amazon? Did you enjoy
Catch-22? You can find out more about the author for $1.30 and pick up
Just One Catch: A Biography of Joseph Heller
.

Did you read
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? The second book in the series -
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls (Quirk Classics)
is also only $1.30.

I really enjoyed Water for Elephants (which I've mentioned before...) so for $2.80 I figured I'd try
The Transformation of Bartholomew Fortuno
. Can you see how these prices could easily get me into trouble?
Obviously, prices can change quickly on Amazon - a few months ago I got this lovely edition of
The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter / The Member of the Wedding
for $5.77 - and now its back up to $16 something. But - I thought I'd share some of the good finds available now.
Enjoy my book-loving friends!
