Around Town - July 22

For the bike people who also love beer - and want to support a local family going through a hard time - you must check out the Bike 2 Beat Cancer that de Vere's is sponsoring on July 28. Its a de Vere's to de Vere's bike ride as in Sacramento to Davis. Just $25 and you can follow the pink balloons and signs all the way to Davis.

Want another reason to go to Davis? If you are into musicals at all - the Davis Musical Theatre is featuring one of my favorites - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It will be running July 20 thru August 5.

July 23 thru 28 be sure to check out some of the various events that will be held as part of Launch Sacramento. The music festival is on July 28 at Cesar Chavez Park and has a pretty good lineup including !!! (Chk Chk Chk) which my husband is a fan of and we've seen at Harlow's before.
