A Mighty Girl!

For moms, aunts, grandmas and other interested parties in promoting strong role models for women, I have to share this site with you. A Mighty Girl launched back in March of this year -- and is a great resource if you are looking for a good book or movie for the smart, mighty girl in your life.

I have a few kids of friends of mine that I am busy searching for birthday gifts for - and I think this is going to turn out to be a great resource for me, and I don't even have kids! They have a great blog as well - with posts like "Never grow a wishbone, daughter, where your backbone ought to be."

The resources available on this site will help build strong, smart and confident girls all over. Its also a trip down memory lane of books and movies that I loved growing up as a kid. Like don't you just love the Anne of Green Gables series??
