Friday Fixation: Cuisine Mentor Seasonings...

It's been a while since I've done a Friday Fixation post ... but here is something I've been totally fixated with lately.

It all started back in November at the Portland Sunday Market - where I sampled and purchased some amazing seasonings from a vendor called Cuisine Mentor. I got some for Christmas gifts and a few for me to try. Will since then I have ordered 2 additional times for more gifts and more for me!

I've used two of the different spice packets the Native American Three Sisters Stew and the Moroccan Chicken Blend. Both are amazing. My picture of the Moroccan chicken (left) doesn't do it justice (they were taken with my cellphone) -- and it was so easy - I just put 3 lbs. of chicken in the crock pot with the seasonings and 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1/2 cup of honey.

I served it with some sweet potatoes with feta, thyme and pine nuts (pictured on the right). It was amazing and there is always leftovers for lunch.

The Three Sisters Stew packet is great as well - and made up the stew recipe one night then used the leftovers for the enchiladas recipe on the Web site. All super yummy and flavorful. We've done this twice with great results both times. Next time I make it I'll post pictures.
