This is going to be a new re-occuring post here at High Heels and Honeybees. In order to make me a little bit more organized with our meals - I am going to be participating in OrgJunkie's Menu Plan Mondays!
Check out her plan for this week... and here is mine below. This can be such a fun way to get new recipes too! I'll try to either write mine out or link to them if possible.
MONDAY: Orzo with Roasted Broccolini and Parsley Vinaigrette
TUESDAY: Eat out or leftovers
WEDNESDAY: Burgers and homemade fries
THURSDAY: Shrimp, Feta and Fresh Herb Mac and Cheese
FRIDAY: Spaghetti and Spicy Turkey Meatballs
SATURDAY: Eat out or leftovers
SUNDAY: Polenta-Stuffed Poblano Peppers
Sometimes things come up... and we don't end up eating at home... but I do want to have something planned anyways. I figure anything I don't get to this week... I'll move to next week. But my goal for now is cooking at home 5 nights a week.
P.S. This is my VERY FIRST Monday off in my new Alternative Work Schedule (I get every other Monday off)... so excited!

Welcome :-) Planning meals is a huge help! For me it relieves a lot of anxiety. I don't have to worry about what I'm going to get for dinner and then running to the grocery store scrabbling to get my ingredients. It also can save you a lot of money! Which is a bonus!
ReplyDeleteThat Polenta-stuffed pepper sounds delicious! ( I did however, have to google what polenta is because I don't think I have ever heard of it before.) Keep me posted on how it taste!
Thanks! I will let you know how the polenta pepper is. It's the recipe that I am the most excited about. I love polenta!
